Arrr - A Pirate I Would Like to Be...

....trim the sails and roam the seas.



We had the opportunity to experience the pirate's life this weekend with a visit from Ben's cousin, Kevin, and his fiancee, Jesse. They drove down from Jacksonville, FL, for the weekend. We went to a Pirate Dinner Adventure in Orlando and had a blast! They went off to conquer Disney the next day.

Gretchen and Paul are close to finishing the construction of their new home! Mom and I had to go check out the progress. It is looking fabulous. Gretchen and I threw a dinner party for their friends and we went down to the local fish market for some shrimp. She is now a deveining champion.....way to go, Gretchen!

Road Warriors

Mom and I decided to explore the Southeastern portion of the USA on my Spring Break, so she flew down to Atlanta, GA, to see the Hammons. Gretchen and Paul drove out as well and we had a wonderful time playing with Abbie, Zach, and Kate. Then Mom and I were off to the Biltmore in Ashville, NC. It was utterly spectatular. It was built by the VanderBilts who made their money from the railroads. Touring the estate, the vineyards, and the farm took the entire day - what a wonderful time!
